In Their Own Story

Deep within the navigation deck, the air hangs heavy and metallic, scented with ozone and the cloying sweetness of spice. Here, in a tank of viscous fluid, the Guild Navigator floats—a grotesque, distended figure whose body has been reshaped by years of toxic exposure. His eyes are entirely blue, devoid of whites, scanning a tapestry of folded reality invisible to the rest of the crew.
